Two local Japanese residents in Sydney, Cape Breton University fourth-year public health student Megumi Nishiuchi and Yukie Tairaku, along with other CBU international students are on a mission to send 1000 red and white origami cranes to the people of disaster ridden Japan.

I really hope that after reading Marlene Kane’s article of May 22 (Weekend Feedback: Tar Ponds Odour Problem Can’t Be Blown Off), the public will have a better understanding of what is really going on at the tar ponds.
