On Wednesday April 27’th, 2011 shortly before 2 am, the Cape Breton Regional Police Service and the Cape Breton Regional Fire Service responded to a structure fire at 44 Park Street, Sydney.

On Saturday, April 23, 2011 at approximately 8 pm, Cape Breton Regional Police Service received a call to locate a missing female ( age 20 ) believed to be in the wooded area behind Carmichael Drive, Sydney River.

On Saturday, April 23, 2011 at approximately 10:30 pm; Cape Breton Regional Fire Service ( Glace Bay ) and Cape Breton Regional Police Service responded to a structure fire at 127 Connaught Avenue, Glace Bay.

Cape Breton Regional police have received several reports of vehicles being entered in the overnight hours, in various areas throughout the CBRM. In most cases, vehicles are not being damaged, but items are being taken from inside the vehicles.
