Cape Breton Regional Police have charged two people in connection to a drug-related incident Wednesday night.
A 26-year-old female and a 36-year-old male, both of Sydney, will appear in Sydney Provincial Court today facing charges of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking in Hydromorphone, Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking in Diazepam and two counts of Breaching Probation.
At approximately 6:00 PM, members of the Cape Breton Regional Police Street Crime Unit arrested Ashley Emma Fennell and Troy Michael Rector at the parking lot of the Acadian Lines on Terminal Drive in Sydney; police seized a quantity of prescription pills as well as the vehicle that Rector and Fennell were driving in.
