Most Hit On Thursday, June 30, 2011, Shortly after 2 pm,  the Cape Breton Regional Police Drug Section conducted a vehicle stop in the Whitney Pier area of Sydney.


As a result two adult males were arrested for Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking in MDMA ( Ecstasy ) and Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking in Marijuana.

Police then executed a Controlled Drugs and Substance Act search warrant at a residence in Sydney River where they seized a large quantity of Ecstasy and marijuana.

A  25 yr old male was charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking in ( MDMA ) Ecstasy and Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking in Marijuana and will appear in Sydney Provincial court on September 26th, 2011.

The second male was 22 yrs old and is also charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking in ( MDMA ) Ecstasy and Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking of Marijuana and has been remanded to the Cape Breton Correctional Centre.  He will appear in Sydney Provincial Court on Monday for a Bail Hearing.
