Most Hit Shortly after 10 pm on Wednesday June 29th 2011 the Cape Breton Regional Police responded to reports of attempted robberies at the Petro Canada service station and the A & K Lick a Chick restaurant in Bras D’Or. The incidents occurred within minutes of one another.  No one was injured and nothing was taken.


A & K Lick a Chick in Bras D'Or, Cape Breton, Nova ScotiaA 31 year old male has since been arrested and charged with two counts of Attempted Armed Robbery, Wearing a Disguise in the Commission of an Offence and Breach of Probation.  He has been remanded to the Cape Breton County Correctional Center pending his appearance in Sydney Provincial Court  on Monday.

A  29 yr old male and a 19 year old female are also in police custody at this time in relation to these incidents.  Members of the General Investigation Section and the Forensic Identification Unit will continue their investigation this morning.
