Popular On Wednesday, June 29, 2011 shortly after 10 pm, the Cape Breton Regional Police responded to reports of two attempted robberies at the Petro Canada service station and the A & K Lick a Chick restaurant in Bras D’Or.


Attempted Robberies at A & K Lick A Chick Restaurant and Ptero Canada in Bras D'OrThe incidents occurred within minutes of one another.  No one was injured and nothing was taken.  The suspect in both incidents was described as being approximately 5’8” tall, thin build, wearing a light colored hoodie and a bandana covering his face.  Members of the General Investigation section and the Forensic Identification Unit will continue their investigation this morning.
