Police are currently on scene at a suspicious death in Halifax.
On Monday, June 27, 2011 at 12:17 pm, police responded to a report of a sudden death at a residence located at 5529 Bilby Street, Halifax. A friend had gone to the residence to check on the homeowner and discovered a deceased person.
Officers from the HRP / RCMP Major Crime Unit and the HRP Forensic Identification Section are currently on scene.
The investigation is in its early stages and until a cause of death is determined, it will be treated as a suspicious death.
