On Sunday, June 26, 2011 at 10:00 am, Halifax Regional Police responded to the discovery of a deceased male found behind a business on Chain lake Drive in Bayer's Lake.
The male was found by searchers of the Halifax Ground Search and Rescue Team. Halifax Ground Search and Rescue and Halifax Regional Police were conducting a search for a missing seventy-three year old John Donald MacInnis. At this time a positive identification has not been made of the deceased male. Once a positive identification of the body has been made, an update will be sent out.
