A male youth faces charges in connection with a robbery on RIchmond Street in Halifax on Friday night. On Friday, June 17, 2011 at 10:30 pm, police responded to a robbery in the 5200 block of Richmond Street. A female resident opened her front door and two teenage males pushed their way into her home and stole a laptop computer. As a result of the investigation by the responding patrol officers, one of the youths was identified and arrested at 12:12 a.m. on Saturday.
A 17-year-old male youth was scheduled to appear in Halifax Youth Court today to face charges of break and enter and robbery. Investigators are still working to identify the second suspect.
