Cape Breton Regional Municipality
Area residents, in partnership with Halifax Regional Municipality, Halifax Regional Police and the Metro Regional Housing Authority, are hosting the sixth annual Community Beautification Day in Uniacke Square this Saturday beginning at 10 a.m.
The Beautification Day will involve various agencies and citizens in a litter clean-up and flower planting. The event will culminate with a lunchtime BBQ and entertainment on Uniacke Street, which will be closed to traffic from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
Rain Date for the event is June 25, 2011.
