On Wednesday, May 11, 2011 at 7:36 p.m., police responded to a call of a break and enter into a residence in the 6300 block of London Street, Halifax.

Witnesses heard an alarm sounding and observed a man leave the home with a number of electronic devices.  They followed him for several blocks but lost sight of him.

Another resident reported seeing the man on Cork Street so officers set up containment and a K-9 unit searched the area and conducted a track to a shed where the stolen property was located.  Information led officers to a house nearby and a man was arrested without incident.

Thirty-two-year-old Cory Glen Johnson of Halifax is scheduled to appear in Halifax Provincial Court today to face charges of break and enter as well as two counts of breach of conditions.
