The investigation into the shooting on Main Avenue in Fairview has resulted in the seizure of two loaded handguns, ammunition and a quantity of marijuana, ecstasy and hash oil.

A total of five people were arrested and each faces multiple charges.

Nineteen-year-old Christian Enang Clyke, 20-year-old Samantha Nicole Clark, 20-year-old Sheileena Downey and 20-year-old Tyrisha Kelsie all from Halifax and a 17-year-old male youth from Timberlea each face numerous weapons-related charges.  Clyke and the male youth are scheduled to appear in court today while Clark, Kelsie and Downey are due in court on May 31 to answer to their charges.  Clark faces two additional charges of drug trafficking and will appear in court on those charges today.
