Halifax Regional Police is investigating a sexual assault that took place Sunday night in Halifax.
A 29-year-old woman was walking west on Fenwick Street at 11:02 p.m. when she observed a man walking towards her in the opposite direction. As the man passed her, he grabbed her breast and kept walking. The victim turned to confront the man who started walking back towards her. She fled the area and police were contacted.
The suspect is described as a white man, in his early thirties, 6'2", 200 lbs., with thin hair and a scruffy face. At the time of the incident he was wearing a dark jacket, dark shirt, jeans and a dark colored baseball cap. He was last seen running northbound in the 1100 block of Tower Road.
