A man wanted in connection with an attempt murder on Willet Street in August has been arrested in Montreal.
On August 15, police responded to the 200 block of Willett Street at 3:33 p.m. and located a 37-year-old man in his apartment suffering from severe head injuries. The victim’s vehicle was stolen in the incident and later recovered in Montreal. A male youth and a female youth were arrested on August 18 in Truro and were charged in relation to this matter. On September 1, a warrant was issued for a third person wanted in connection with this incident.
As a result of the combined efforts by the HRP/RCMP Integrated General Investigation Section (GIS), and Service de Police de la Ville de Montréal, 20-year-old Antron Corey Dann was arrested on September 3 in Montreal. GIS Officers will transport Dann back to Halifax and it is expected that he will appear in Halifax Provincial Court on Friday.
