Members of the RCMP - Halifax District utilized GPS on a cell phone to locate a 42 year-old male Sunday morning.

The man was out biking in the Spider Lake area in Waverley, N.S. on Saturday evening.  At dusk, he could not find his bearings and became disoriented.  At about 9:20 PM, RCMP members were called.  The RCMP K-9 Unit and regular members attempted to search the area that night with negative results.   Halifax Regional Search and Rescue volunteers were called out to assist in locating the male.  He was found safe at about 5:30 AM Sunday morning.
