Members of the RCMP- Halifax District responded to motor vehicle crash involving a pick-up truck and a motor cycle on Highway 7 and Conrad Settlement Road, Head of Chezzetcook, NS Monday morning.

On Monday, September 6, 2010 at 10:40 AM, A pick-up truck was travelling on East Chezzetcook Road when it turned left onto Highway 7 headed toward Porters Lake.  A motorcycle traveling westbound on Highway 7 was unable to stop and collided with the pick-up.  The 55 year-old male driver of the motor cycle was transported to hospital with serious injuries.

The 37 year-old male who was driving the truck has been charged with Failing to Yield to Highway Traffic.  He will appear in Provincial Court in Halifax on a later date.
