On Saturday, September 4, 2010, at 4:35 a.m., Members of the RCMP - Oxford Detachment, conducted a traffic stop on Whitehall Road in Parrsboro.

This resulted in the arrest of a 23 year old male. He has been charged with Impaired Operation and Operating a Motor Vehicle while over the Legal Limit. He will appear in court at a later date.

On Saturday, September 4, at 8:17 p.m., Members of the Oxford Detachment conducted a traffic stop on Highway 307 in Lower Wentworth which resulted in the arrest of a 50 year old male. He has been charged with Impaired Operation and Operating a Motor Vehicle while over the Legal Limit. He will appear in court at a later date.
