On Sunday, August 30, 2010 between 10:30 pm & 11 pm, an Armed Robbery occurred on Meadowbrook Drive in Sydney Mines.

A 29 yr old male victim from the Northside area reports being stopped at stop sign near Meadowbrook Drive in Sydney Mines when two unknown males entered into his vehicle.

The victim was threatened at knife point and then drove onto highway 105. After a short period of time the culprits exited the vehicle on Commercial Street in North Sydney with no injuries to victim.

The culprits made off with personal items belonging to victim but did not get any money.

A Major Crime member was called out and the victim’s vehicle was seized and held for further forensic testing to be done by the CBRPS Forensic Identification Unit.
