On Saturday, August 28, 2010 at approximately 8:00 PM, members of the RCMP - Halifax District seized marijuana and two weapons from a residence on Juniper Crescent in Eastern Passage after responding to a 911 call.

The members checked the home and found 35 mature marijuana plants. A search warrant was obtained and two weapons, a cross bow and .22 caliber rifle, were also found. A 33 year-old male will appear in Provincial Court in Dartmouth at a later date to face charges of Cultivation of Marijuana and Unlawful Possession of a Weapon.
