On Saturday, August 28, 2010, at 1:38 p.m., Members of the RCMP - Parrsboro Detachment, responded to a complaint of an unoccupied boat caught in the fish weir at Partridge Island near Parrsboro.

The boat is described as a green American 12 Sundolphin boat with a 4 horsepower motor attached. There are no reports of missing boaters in the area. Police are asking for the owner to claim the boat by calling the Parrsboro Detachment at 1-902-254-2424.
