Officers assigned to the HRP / RCMP Integrated Major Crime Unit have laid charges in the murder of 47-year-old Grant William Kidston of Dartmouth.

At 2:50 p.m. on Sunday May 30 officers responded to the 100 block of Victoria Road where Mr. Kidston was found deceased. As a result of the investigation a man was arrested yesterday without incident at 9:45 a.m. during a traffic stop in Dartmouth.

Fifty-year-old Stephen William Jones of Dartmouth is scheduled to appear in Dartmouth Provincial Court today charged with second degree murder.
