An arrest has been made in connection with a Dartmouth homicide which occurred in May.

At 2:50 p.m. on Sunday, May 30 officers responded to the 100 block of Victoria Road after receiving information that there was a deceased person at that location. The victim was identified as 47-year-old Grant William Kidston of Dartmouth and his death was ruled a homicide.

At 9:45 a.m. this morning, a man was arrested without incident during a traffic stop in Dartmouth. The arrest is a result of the investigation by the HRP/RCMP Integrated Major Crime Unit, who were assisted today by the Central Quick Response Unit and Patrol Officers.

The investigation is continuing and no decision regarding charges has yet been made.
