On Saturday, August 14, 2010 at approximately 2:30 am, Cape Breton Regional Police received a report of a two vehicle motor vehicle accident on the Westmount Road.

Both vehicles involved received extensive damage and Westmount Fire Service were on scene. There were no serious injuries as the result of the motor vehicle accident.

As the result of the motor vehicle accident investigation Cape Breton Regional Police have charged a 37 year old female from North Sydney with impaired driving.
