The victim in last night’s shooting in Halifax has passed away and police are investigating this matter as a homicide.

At 10:50 p.m. police responded to the 100 block of Jarvis Lane where a 21-year-old man was found suffering from a single wound to his chest. He was transported to hospital and passed away this morning as a result of his injuries.
