32 Yr Old Male Charged With Break And Enter In Sydney Print

At 01:2 a..m., CBRPS responded to an attempted Break & Enter at 246 Esplanade, the Yacht Club.

 

Someone had smashed a window in a door at the club and attempted to gain entry into the club but had fled from the area prior to the police arriving.  While members of the Police Service were actively looking for the culprit another call was received at 01:55 a.m. The Regional Police members responded to an intrusion alarm at the Elks Club at 101 Bentinck Street, Sydney.

Several police officers surrounded the Elks Club and with the assistance of the Regional Police K-9 Unit a male suspect was apprehended inside the Club.

A 32 year old male suspect has been charged with the Attempted Break & Enter and Property Damage at the Yacht Club.  The suspect is also charged with Break & Enter at the Elks Club and Breach of an Undertaking from a previous charge.  The suspect will be held in Lock up and will appear in Court later in the morning on March 9, 2010.
